Formlabs

Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Designer

Joined Formlabs to build the second prototype of a low-cost desktop SLA 3D printer when it was just a 4 person team. One year and a half dozen prototypes later, the Form 1 raised $2.9M on Kickstarter. Continued to work on the engineering and design of SLA 3D printers and accessories, bringing to market the Form 1+, Form 2, Form 2 Finish Kit, Form Wash, Form Cure, Fuse Sift, Form 3L, and Form Cure L. Was involved through the full product development process from user research, concepting, prototyping, and testing to the DFM of bent sheet metal and plastic injection molded parts. Listed as an inventor on over 30% of Formlabs patents. Today, Formlabs has over 500 employees, is valued at over $1 billion, and is the largest seller of stereolithography 3D printers worldwide.
